Step One

The first step here would be to get your chopping sorted. Remember that there is more of prep time going into this recipe rather than cooking time. So make sure that all your vegetables are finally chopped.

Now take the tomato puree in a large pot. If you think the puree is too thick, you can add some water to get a consistency that you like. Add all of the ingredients at this stage as there is no cooking involved.
