8 DIY Body Scrubs For Flaky Skin

3. Rose Petal Scrub

Ingredients:

7-8 Rose Petals
½ cup of Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon of brown sugar

In this, take a jar with some coconut oil and mix it with rose petals (red or pink) and some brown sugar. Take some time to mix these 3 well and leave it for a day or two to see them blend well. Apply the same on your body parts that have been high and dry and wash the same thoroughly with water to rinse it off. The difference in your skin will be very quickly noticed as the dry parts are well moisturized after the same. This solution is recommended for sensitive skin.

4. Cucumber And Aloe Vera

1 cucumber
½ cup Aloe Vera gel

Cut one cucumber and mash it in a bowl. Aloe Vera can be easily extracted from its plant which should be blended well in the bowl for 10 odd minutes. There is no specific quantity required to make the same but once the solution is made, it should be applied on the patched areas. These 2 ingredients help in moisture retention during the toughest times and therefore very effective.

5. Tomato Juice Scrub

Ingredients:

2-4 tomatoes
½ tablespoon lavender essence

This one may be the easiest of all scrubs that are mentioned below. Mash 2-4 tomatoes and add some lavender essence oil in it. Leave the mix for about 45 minutes in the sun and then again blend well. 1 medium ripped avocado
50 grams almonds

Mash the ripped avocado along with the almonds. Add ½ cup of oatmeal inside the solution to give it a thicker texture altogether. Add water once the solution begins to thicken beyond desired. 7. Coffee Scrub

½ a cup of coffee
Some essence oil
1 tablespoon sugar& vanilla extracts

Mix coffee with an essence oil, let us say almond essence oil for about 15 mins and then add the other two ingredients until all of them mix well to form a semi solid paste. This scrub can be effective against the hard skin areas such as heels, backs of your arms and knees. Wash well after 15-20 minutes to see the dirt being taken away while the dry parts are left with some important moisture retention.

8. Rice Scrub

Ingredients:

1 cup Rice
½ cup milk

Add rice and milk and crush the same until all the particles are transformed into semi solid paste. Dry the same to remove the moisture and apply it directly on your skin. This helps in exfoliation and allows the new cells from underneath to evolve by removing the old dead cells (which are the major reason for dried and flaky skin).
